At Barkat’s our main field of expertise is Asian Catering where we are the best in Planning, Co-ordinating and Catering for special occasions and events.

Our wealth of experience started back in 1935 by Haji Barkat Ali. He worked at hotels and food production companies in India and in 1955 moved to London where he started catering for family and friends.

As the years went by his reputation and quality of food bought him custom from all over the UK, as well as offers to cater for weddings in France and Germany.

Today he has passed down the authentic recipes to his sons and grandsons who now manage the family business in East London.
